Some children will do anything to get the attention and praise of friends or those they admire. Sometimes, they’d lie, cheat or even steal to get their love and respect. Don’t be like that. 
David watched over his father’s sheep and protected them against a lion and bear without expecting a reward from anyone. But God saw him and rewarded his diligence by promoting him to be king.
The praise and acceptance of God is more important than those of your friends’. So, do whatever you do well, be sincere and honest, only with the aim to please your heavenly Father.

Build Your Nation

Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 

1 Timothy 2:1-2

It’s our responsibility to build our nation. No one is going to come from anywhere to make the society we live in better; we’ve got to do that ourselves!

You’ll build your society by first speaking words of blessing over it. Don’t join those 

who only see and speak evil of their countries and leaders; this is wrong. 

Also, make it a habit to keep your surroundings clean and speak kindly to people, especially the elderly. This shows you’re different and excellent.
