Who Are You Trying To Please?
And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men Colossians 3:23
Some children will do anything to get the attention and praise of friends or those they admire. Sometimes, they’d lie, cheat or even steal to get their love and respect. Don’t be like that.
David watched over his father’s sheep and protected them against a lion and bear without expecting a reward from anyone. But God saw him and rewarded his diligence by promoting him to be king.
The praise and acceptance of God is more important than those of your friends’. So, do whatever you do well, be sincere and honest, only with the aim to please your heavenly Father.

Let’s PrayDear Father, I thank you for teaching me today to look forward to only your praise, and acceptance in all I do, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Surely, God’s goodness and mercy follow us, every day, as we dwell in the house of God forever. Amen.
