"Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His Name."
Hebrews 13:15
Everytime you lift up your hands to worship God, He is excited. He loves it when you worship Him. We don't worship Him just because we want Him to get excited about it but because He deserves our worship.
Our opening Scripture says, let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God. This means we must continually worship God. Any where you are, wherever you find yourself, you must worship God. It is something we should do all the time.
Don't be carried away doing other things and forget to worship God. Give it your attention and spend quality time doing it. Don't spend one or two minutes and you are off, spend time to worship God.
Some kids spend alot of time playing games or watching cartoons or even playing with their friends, but when it comes to attending to your spiritual activities like worshipping God, they spend little time. This is not good for a child of God. You ought to give paramount attention to your spiritual activities. Your spiritual activities should be first in all things. They are what help you become firm spiritually, full of faith and full of the Holy Ghost. Don’t take them lightly.
God loves to hear your voice, your voice is unique, specially made for you, this is why He loves to hear you sing.
"The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight." Proverbs 15:8.
Jonah, a prophet in the Bible was swallowed up by a very great fish for three days, there was no way for him to come out. Jonah went ahead to worship God in the belly of the great fish and a miracle happened. God commanded the great fish to vomit Jonah on dry ground and the fish vomited Jonah on dry ground.
That was what happened to Jonah. Don’t wait till you get into any situation before you worship God. Worship Him all the time.
Also, don't wait until you get to Church before you worship God. You can worship God anywhere and at any time. Whether you are outside or indoors. You can even do so right away, lift up your hands and sing to Him, worship Him from the depths of your heart. Hallelujah!
