Are you a giver? If you are not yet a giver, make up your mind to become one right now.
It is beautiful to receive, when you do, you have more. You can receive toys, clothes, shoes and other gift items from your parents, friends and loved ones. It makes you feel loved or even appreciated, epecially when you have been doing nice things.
Have you ever thought about giving? It’s more honorable that way. Giving is much more beautiful than receiving, no matter what it is you are giving. It may be your money or other material things, it may be your time or energy, it makes no difference, it is still greater than receiving.
Why is giving greater than receiving? This is because, the giver is blessed! Everyone who gives is blessed. Whatever you give comes back to you, packed down, shaken together, and spilling over into your lap. This we find in our opening Scripture in Luke 6:38 CEV. This is greater than receiving.
Every time you give, you get blessed. As you increase your giving, you get more blessed. So the more you give, the more blessed you are.
You may not have started giving, go ahead and start right away, no matter how big or small it is, start with it that way.
All those gift items you receive, whether big or small, share it with others for it is more blessed to give than to receive!
I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how He said, It is more blessed to give than to receive. Acts 20:35.
