There is a man in the Bible called Joses. The Bible says he was surnamed The son of consolation by the Apostles.
Acts 4:36
And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus,
He was called that name because he was a big giver, he brought peace of mind to the Apostles.
